Two Cases of Huge Cystic Renal Cell Carcinoma

Abstract

|
|
Cystic renal cell carcinoma includes any malignant neoplasms of renal tubular epithelium which presents as fluid-filled mass. The radiological and pathological findings of cystic renal cell carcinoma are often more confusing and less specific
than
the
findings of solid renal cell carcinoma. We present two patients with cystic renal cell carcinoma of 50-year-old male and 39-year-old female, who diagnosed with CT preoperatively. Both patients were treated successfully by radical nephrectomy and
confirmed by histological findings. The clinical aspects as well as the treatment given to both patients are discussed.
